Lilia Gargouri

Lilia Gargouri is a graduate computer scientist, senior software developer and expert in software quality with a focus on test automation. As Head of Quality Assurance at mgm technology partners, she stands for sustainable, scalable and efficient quality assurance – especially for long-lasting and highly complex enterprise software. Her aim is to understand, shape and focus on software quality as a strategic success factor.

With strategic vision and technical expertise, she shapes the standard of modern software quality in agile large-scale projects. She establishes scalable QA processes, standardises test methods and makes targeted use of innovative software solutions to combine quality and efficiency. As the inventor of a model-based low-code test automation tool, Lilia Gargouri has set new standards in end-to-end test automation. Especially in critical eGovernment projects, her solution contributed to significantly simplifying and accelerating quality assurance.

As a member of the German Testing Board, she contributes her extensive practical experience, her methodological knowledge and her passion for the further development of quality standards. Among other things, she is involved in the working group for the localisation of the ‘ISTQB® Certified Tester – Advanced Level – Test Analyst’. She emphasises the importance of uniform ISTQB standards and thus promotes a common understanding and a clear basis for communication in teams and organisations.

Lilia Gargouri is also a passionate advocate for digital inclusion and social responsibility in IT. For her, accessibility is not an optional feature, but a key quality feature of digital products. She raises awareness of the importance of accessibility in software projects on international stages such as the Women in Tech Global Conference, the German Testing Days, the Software Quality Days and TACON.

As a mentor, speaker and trainer, the promotion of career changers is particularly close to her heart. Through practical knowledge transfer in the field of software testing and test automation, she creates sustainable career prospects and actively shapes a diverse tech community. As an ambassador in the WomenTech Network, speaker at Women in Tech e. V. and ISTQB Women in Testing as well as mentor for women in software testing, Lilia is committed to more visibility, equal opportunities and empowerment of women in IT.
