Become an Accredited Training Provider

Accreditation is the quality assurance and maturity test for organisations that wish to offer training courses for the ISTQB® Certified Tester Scheme.

A prerequisite for accreditation is the complete and free submission of all necessary documents to the GTB. Please refer to the diagram “Materials to be submitted” to find out which documents must be submitted for each type of accreditation.

Distinction between accreditations

Training Course Owner (TCO) The accreditation of an organisation’s training materials for compliance with the curriculum.

Online Training Course Owner/Provider (OTCO/OTCP) An organisation that provides the necessary infrastructure (e.g. organisation, marketing) and resources for conducting online courses and carries out corresponding online training.

Requirements for accreditation

  • The content of the training must be accurate and fully compliant with the syllabus and glossary.
  • Learning objectives must be implemented within the specified time and with sufficient depth.
  • The prerequisites for conducting training courses are
    – a high-quality infrastructure
