Alexander Frenzel

Alexander Frenzel is Global Verification Lead in development projects for various haemodialysis machine product lines and Senior Expert for Test Management at Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH. Through his many years of experience in the development and verification of embedded software and systems, he has gained experience not only in medical technology, but also in the telecommunications, media and automotive sectors. In addition to his responsibility for the test organisation in the projects, Mr. Frenzel focuses on the strategic orientation and standard conformity of the test process design as well as the further development of internal guidelines and quality standards.

Alexander Frenzel is involved in the German Testing Board’s working group for the localisation of the ‘ISTQB® Certified Tester – Advanced Level – Test Manager’. Here he would like to make his contribution to the further development of quality-conscious, efficient and applicable test management in order to provide people and companies with a valuable tool for the future-oriented use of testing and its management.

As a speaker at national and international conferences, especially in the field of software development in medical technology, Alexander Frenzel has published various papers and presentations on the challenges of test management in agile development projects in normatively regulated environments since 2022.
