As Chief Process Officer at TestSolutions GmbH, Florian Fieber is responsible for the test process management of the entire organization as well as the entire training area with the “QualityDojo – TestSolutions Academy”. He has been working in the field of quality assurance for software systems for almost 20 years and has (co-)founded several training and consulting companies during this time. His focus as a consultant and trainer is on test management, test process management and test process improvement.
After studying media informatics and information systems, he initially worked as a software developer for enterprise applications and as a research assistant at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. Since then, his focus has developed from test analysis and test automation to test management and process improvement and today encompasses all quality assurance aspects of the entire software life cycle. Mr. Fieber has been active as a trainer for “ISTQB Certified Tester” seminars since 2006 and during this time has developed various seminar contents and led numerous seminars for ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level as well as the Advanced Levels.
Mr. Fieber joined the GTB to further develop and establish the Certified Tester Scheme. He was Deputy Chairman from 2020 to 2022 and has been Chairman of the GTB since 2022. He is also involved as head of the Acceptance Testing working group and deputy head of the Glossary working group as well as in the Agile and Mobile working groups. At the ISTQB, he has headed the “Testing in Particular Domains” working group since 2024.
