As Chief Process Officer at TestSolutions GmbH, Florian Fieber is responsible not only for test process management and product management, but also for the entire training division, including the “TestSolutions Academy”. He has been working in the field of software quality assurance for over 20 years and has co-founded several training and consultancy firms during this time. His main areas of focus as a consultant and trainer are test management, test process management and test process improvement.
After studying Media Informatics and Information Systems, he initially worked as a software developer for enterprise applications and as a research assistant at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. Since then, his areas of expertise have evolved from test analysis and test automation to test management and process improvement, and now encompass all quality assurance aspects throughout the entire software lifecycle. Mr Fieber has been active as a trainer for ‘ISTQB Certified Tester’ seminars since 2006 and, during this time, has developed various seminar modules and led numerous seminars for the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level and Advanced Level.
Mr Fieber joined the GTB to further develop and establish the Certified Tester scheme. He has been Chair of the GTB since 2022, having previously served as Deputy Chair from 2020 to 2022. He is also involved as Head of the GenAI Working Group. At the ISTQB, he has led the ‘Testing in Particular Domains’ Working Group since 2024.
