Agile Technical Tester

The way a tester works in an agile project differs from the way they work in a traditional project (e.g. according to the V-model).
Testers must therefore know and understand the values and principles that underpin agile projects. Testers, like developers and subject matter experts, are equal members of the agile team and act accordingly.

This additional training course, which builds on the Foundation Level, deepens your knowledge so that you can successfully work as a test specialist in an agile project and contribute your own testing expertise in the best possible way. The most important learning content is:

  • Aspects of agile approaches
  • Status of testing in agile projects
  • Test Charter
  • Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD)
  • Specification by Example (SBE)
  • Test-driven development (TDD)
  • Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
  • The role and skills of a tester in an agile team

The certification exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. The exam duration is 90 minutes. The Foundation Level Certificate is a prerequisite for taking the exam.
